Enable Live Captions
To enable Live Captions for your room, use the Enable Live Captions setting in the Settings Panel:

After enabling Live Captions, you will immediately see a Room Language dropdown above that setting:

By default, the room language is set to None, which means that the system will try to automatically set the spoken language for each user based on their Operating System language settings.
We recommend setting the room language to the primary language of your event (i.e. English) to ensure that the captions are properly generated for event.
When the Live Captions are enabled, users will see a Live Captions button in the bottom control bar with a menu containing settings for their personal captions:

From there, users can override the Spoken Language that is used to transcribe their speech. This defaults to the room language setup above.
Display Live Captions
You can toggle the visibility of the Live Captions using the Live Captions button in the bottom control bar:

Live Translation
Users can view captions in their preferred language, regardless of the speaker’s language. The translation happens in real-time, allowing for seamless multilingual communication.
Setting your preferred caption language is easy. Simply use the Translate Captions To setting available in the Live Captions menu.
Below you can see an example of live translated English to Spanish:

Local Downloads
Users can get use of the Download Meeting Captions button in the Live Captions menu to download the transcript of the meeting to their local machine:

The download will be in HTML format, which can be opened in any modern web browser:

Entrance Notification
To be transparent with the users participating in the meeting, Horn provides the following notification when Live Captions are enabled:

This one will be shown to every user joining the meeting for an extended period of time or until they click the notification to hide it.
